Step 1: Virtual Coffee Date

Long before I even begin designing, we will set up a time for a “virtual coffee date.” This is a 20-30 minute phone call in which we discuss what you are looking for, what it is that you do, and how we can work together to create the perfect identity for your business.

Step 2: Homework

I can promise you, this homework is way better than anything you would have had to do in school. After our virtual coffee date, I’ll send over my brand & design questionnaire. This form will help both of us to identify essential parts of your business that will guide us in the right direction for your logo design.

Along with the questionnaire, you’ll also receive your invoice for your deposit and a contract.

Step 4: Mood Board

Following our brand consultation, I will construct a mood board to ensure that we’re both on the same page with the general feel of your logo. This could include other logos, images, color schemes, and sample fonts.

Step 5: Logo Concepts

After you’ve reviewed the mood board, I will begin creating logo concepts. I will present you with 2-4 original concepts. When I design logos, I make a point to hand draw details to ensure that your logo is entirely unique. This means that I can even include your own horse!

Once a concept is agreed upon, revisions will be made until you LOVE the final product.

Step 6: Brand Board & Final Files

When the final logo is completed, I will present you with a brand board for final approval. This board will display your logo and every applicable watermark, alternate logo, monogram, and icon, along with the final color palette and font system.
